LA luna
Luna is a round coffee table project that explores the contrast between lightness and material density. The metal frame draws a precise, almost graphic circle, while the glass top lightens the whole and opens the table to its surroundings. The object is intentionally minimal, yet it reveals the irregularities of the metal, its textures and subtle variations
Seen from above, these surface accidents form the outline of a moon, like a celestial disc held within the structure. The table becomes both furniture and image, somewhere between functional object and discreet sculptural presence. The cold appearance of the materials contrasts with the role of the coffee table itself, an object that people naturally gather around to share a moment.
